In his new debut "BlenderGod", ArtLexus takes the mideighties post-industrial noise sound and subverts it: sharp guitars mixed with all sorts of instruments, both playable and unplayable, form old Lexus' wall of sound and go past it with an extraordinary alienating effect. The outcome is dazing and hard to catalogue: an experimental search running on the thin line between the hallucinatory and the annihilating.

Kozminski oscillate from "naïf expressionism to minimalist psychedelia", and the many contrasting elements create a kind of “utopia of opposites”. Fede’s lyrics full of imagery meet with Luca’s cinematic ones. Fabri’s wind instruments break suddenly through a measured piano tune or Marco’s solid rhythm patterns. Finally, the guitars and synthesizers carry through the ebbs and flows of sound that define their psychedelic folk-rock.

A photographer comes back to his homeland in order to understand the reason of both his country's failure and his own. During his trip he talks to many people: each with a believable version, but opposite to the previous speakers'. The photographer cannot seize his journey's meaning and doesn't even know if he's left his own house or if the whole story is just the result of an interior monologue. Words are supported by photos supposedly taken by the main character. Their order looks random, as each depicted town could be anywhere in the world.
